Oscillator License Agreement Revised with The Johns Hopkins University

COLUMBIA, MD. March 16, 2004 . . . Syntonics LLC, based in Columbia, Md., announced today it has revised its license agreement with The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL).

The new agreement licenses Syntonics to sell non-ovenized oscillator products based on APL's high-performance, space-qualified ultrastable quartz oscillators and related technologies. The earlier agreement also licensed ovenized oscillator products. Syntonics will discontinue the marketing and selling of its ultra-stable oscillator (USO) product line.

Syntonics is a privately held specialty defense electronics company that develops RF-over-fiber optic communication systems, unusual antennas, and advanced GPS holdover clocks. The company also provides engineering services to customers in the aerospace and defense industries.
