Twenty HARC systems for the Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) were delivered for deployment. The first HARC system for a foreign military was shipped. Additionally, five lightweight HARC prototype systems in three different configurations, all intended for smaller aerostats and tower tops, were tested and/or demonstrated in field exercises. HARC systems are now available for all tactical communications waveforms used by the U.S. Army including the Advanced Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2), the new Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), the new JTRS Wideband Network Waveform (WNW), plus the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) and Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) waveforms.
New products in 2011 include FORAX-RP for fiber-enabled Distributed Antenna Systems. Syntonics booked its first FORAX-RP order for a government customer in 2011 and the second order, for a regional transportation authority, is in process. Major FORAX-RM installations in 2011 included a new major command headquarters near Miami, FL; a new divisional headquarters near El Paso, TX; a Joint Maneuver Training Center in Indiana; and a military airfield near Huntsville, AL. Syntonics also delivered its first RF-over-Fiber equipment for a over-the-air television application, in the Samoan Islands.
